Re: SOLVED: Still getting 'air cuts' after autolevelling
With regards the second video, I use the same method to fixture stock on my milling machine to cut metal. Works a treat and holds very well. Last time I used it was to hold aluminum sheet to a 'spoil' board and was cutting out shapes using a .125 inch diameter end mill. Cleanup is not to bad as the ...

Re: Cannot Load OGF Problem
This error code was added to the latest revision to find just such a scenario.
Previous versions didn't have it.
Open your gcode file in any basic text editor to verify the presents or lack of negative Z movements.
Chances are there are no negative Z's

This one beats me. I tried to load it into several versions and got the same results as you. We will need to wait for James to do his magic to figure this one out.

Re: Autoleveler on Handibot
dennyfmn, Welcome aboard and hopefully we can resolve you concerns. From a quick review of their website, it appears it uses g-code to control the machine, but I cannot find if it has a probe command and if it does, does it log it to a file?? I would suggest that if either of the above conditions ar...

Re: Newbie question, no insight found on forum
airnocker, As I read your post, you have got it! :D I use the 'two stage' process where Autoleveler generates a file to do the probing and generates a Raw Probe File (RPF) and take that file and let Autolever combine it into the Original G-code file to generate a final file. Regards, Country Bubba

Re: Mach3
Hi, "Does this work for Mach3?" Yes "Do I have to install a probe? Or can I just zero at a corner then punch in values for the other three corners?" Yes, because it probes in a grid pattern and does not rely simply on the 4 corners. "Is it a script that inserts ahead of whatever gcode you've generat...

Re: Autoleveller for Plastic engraving
Pete, Glad to see that you have it sorted out. Yes that is basically the way I did it. I had a "boiler plate" file that I used to overwrite that section of the code. The latest version of AE (AutolevellerAE-0.9.4u2) gives you the option of make your own custom Z initialization. Its under the "member...
