Hello to all developers of self-made circuit boards,
i am ranger930, new here and have a question.
My circuit boards are milled with a CNC machine.
I use Mach3 with a USB CNC board, which works well.
Autoleveling also works great. However, I miss the option of setting up locked areas on the circuit board, as I want to fix the circuit board there with small screws. Am I right in thinking that AE cannot do this? This post is also intended as a future request. Will AE be developed further?
Greetings to all ranger930
Will AE be developed further?
Re: Will AE be developed further?
This is a good question, and it gives me a good opportunity to present the current state of affairs with Autoleveller...
This might come as a disappointment to you, but currently, I am not working on Autoleveller and haven't been for many years. The program is still available for download as you know. You can modify the code as it's entirely open source, and I'll keep it available to download because it is quite useful for many people. But I am not currently working on any new features or other development.
I have bitten off more than I can chew, as usual, and my current development work includes:
- My other website www.makers-point.com
- Another Flight simulator software called SimTrim
- 3D printed parts for various flight sim controls and activities
- I have also recently started doing some app development work
Call me lazy, but I simply do not have the time to do any CNC machine work, plus I don't even have my CNC machine anymore. I hope at some point I will get a new machine, and probably come back to this. But at the moment, consider that I will not do anything to this in the near future. Probably not what you want to hear. Sorry.
