Custom Controller Options question [SOLVED]

I don't know if I'm doing something wrong but I can't seem to get my entries to show up in the saved *.nc
I've seen others here that have succesfully entered commands and words to make AE work with mach3 with usb machines.

When I hit apply my additions show up exactly as I want them to in the Example Box. But when I generate the file they are not there.

Any idea whats going on?

UPDATE:After experimenting A LOT I accidentally clicked the Controller button in the main interface and saw the Custom option and in despair tested it. And it worked. Now the file contains the setting and tonight I'll do a test run.

Thanks for the update. Feel free to ask anything else here though. Been having some health issues lately so the forum is thew best place to ask rather than emailing me. The guys on here are a great knowledgeable bunch
