Hi,
I am new to group and maybe need a bit of help with the Autolevel program.
I downloaded the free version to try.
I have a home built CNC bed area 400mm X 300mm , I surfaced the bed with a surfacing program I am using Mach3, then fixed an FR4 double sided board 250mm x 150mm and opened the leveling program loaded my board gcode and then zeroed "Z" in Mach3 then ran the auto level gcode that took about 15mins then removed probe from drill bit and clicked start cycle, the milling started at the front of the board were home position is but bit didn't come all the way to the board I let it run and eventually as milling got to about 2/3rd to rear of board started cutting into copper, its as if there was a slight incline in the board,
Tried again lowered "Z" height so started milling at the front and eventually tip was broke has it got to rear of board, will try some more settings but putting a Dial gauge along the "Y" axis (front to back) seemed fine maybe 0.002" error in surface.
Would appreciate any help
Regards John
Am I leveling correctly

What are you using as a probe? Is it electrical as in the videos? You usually use the same tool for etching as you did for probing, otherwise you need to "re-align Z" before etching and after probing.
Also, what interface do you use, USB or parallel port,?
