Cannot Load OGF Problem

Hi

The AutolevellerAE V0.9.5u1 gives the following error message when I tried to load OGF.

I'm sure there is a negative value of Z axis. Also the same file was accepted free of error when I use Autoleveller V0.8.7.

Any one faced the same problem before?

This error code was added to the latest revision to find just such a scenario.
Previous versions didn't have it.

Open your gcode file in any basic text editor to verify the presents or lack of negative Z movements.

Chances are there are no negative Z's

As Art said, this error popup was added recently to warn users of the probable problem rather than just crashing abruptly.

If you cant find any problems with the OGF though, maybe paste the first 50 or so lines of code here and Im sure we will be able to find the problem and provide a workaround or solution.

Just loaded this into 0.9.5 through my debugger and there were no complaints. So the problem must be further on in the GCode, an unrecognised line or something.

Would you mind sending me the entire file. Im guessing it is quite long so maybe email it to me: daedelus@autoleveller.co.uk
I can then run that in the debugger and find/fix the problem.

Thanks for emailing me this. I have since found and fixed the problem. Will release the update soon.

To explain what the problem was...

N1693 G3 X61.502 Y15.966 I0.039 J-0.143
N1694 G3 X61.501 Y15.966 I-0.000 J0.000
N1695 G3 X61.498 Y15.967 I-0.064 J-0.170
The above 3 lines were taken from the GCode you sent me. You see the second line the I and J are 0, 0. This makes the center of the arc the same as the starting point of the arc, and hence the radius of the arc is exactly 0.
This causes problems later on for Autoleveller and is why you get the popup essentially.

I fixed this by just adding 0.00001 to the X centre point to increase the radius fractionally. It feels to me like a nasty hacky solution but it works and it shouldnt affect anything else.

Sorry, forgot to digitally sign the uploads from earlier. Have replaced the 0.9.5u2 files directly now. Doesnt matter if you already downloaded. All digital signing does is remove some security warnings from the downloads.
