I have used Autoleveller for some years and most recently I've been using it daily.
On two, perhaps three occasions over that time I've had a failure that AE refuses to display a browse window
to navigate to and nominate a new OGF.
The solution in each case was to go to the Windows Registry ...

Re: Unable to set OGF in AE7.8
Hi,
having deleted the Registry entry and subsequently being able to <browse> to a new OGF
I thought I would go back and have a look at the fresh new registry entry.
To be honest it looks the same, within the fact that it pointed to a different file.
My best guess is that the entry became ...

Re: Unable to set OGF in AE7.8
Hi,
I have solved the problem. I vaguely recall having a similar problem some years ago
and had a recollection that a Registry Fix was required.
I did some searching in the Bug Report page and found the reference. I deleted the Registry entry
and now AE7.8 works as it used to, ie I can <Browse> to ...

Re: Unable to set OGF in AE7.8
Hi,
I have tried downloading and installing AutolevellerAE095.
It appeared to work, that is to say it correctly loaded the OGF and generated a PGF file.
The PGF file ran on my machine and generated a what looks to be a compliant probe data file.
The Probe tab remained greyed out. It may be that ...

Hi,
Yes the ethernet controller is quite expensive when compared to the USB controller and I would have liked the USB controller to work, I will surely give it a try sometime in the future and post my findings if any
Not sure why. USB comms are subject to greater delays, more subject to ...

Hi,

I have had no recurrence of the issue where there were more data points than probe points.
The problem was discovered and extensively investigated by an ESS user. The problem he described
was not related to ...

Hi,
I haven't used Autoleveller for a couple of months but everything worked fine the last time I did.
If you've followed this thread I wrote these macros to accommodate the fact that I would end up with
extra entries in the probe file and even the smallest variation between the actual verses the ...

Re: Hey, anyone ever used a CNC Lathe? I need HELP!
Hi,
this forum is about software called Autoleveller, it is used as a part of CNC but it is not about CNC lathes.
To get help I would recommend CNCZone.
Good Luck
Craig
