Autoleveler for artistic engraving
Is there any reason why I can't use autoleveler for an artistic engraving? I would be using the same bit I use for PCB's, and my gcode only has one z depth and has no drill points. I can't see why there would be a problem, but I don't want to ruin some material and a bit in the process if I don't have to. Thanks!

Short Answer. No, no reason.
Longer Answer. I have not tried anything other than PCB's myself so cannot confirm but I think others have done artistic etching like this (there is an older video of someone etching a non-pcb on my home page if you scroll down). Just make sure you adjust the probe clearance in the Mesh settings to compensate if you are etching a curved surface. Cant see it being a problem though.
