Probing works fine 0.77 but SW 0.8 or higher my cnc goes bananas!

Post by freinert »

Hi

I tried the software 0.77 and it seem to work very well, but it didnt save the probe result.

So i payed for a membership and downloaded latest software, but then my router goes
bananas and destroys my tools.

I took the M40 command and put in to the 0.77 generated probe file and then mach3 saved
my probe data into a file!!

Tried to input that probe file into 0.8+ but nothing happens when I click "create levelled g-code"

So iam ending up in:

0.77 software, working fine but cant create any final levelled g-code
0.8+ software, going bananas.

What to do?? :(

Solved this one via email but will probably need reiterating here...

The problem was that Mach 3 didnt like the sub procedures in this case and entered into an infinite loop when the AL gcode was opened. If any Mach 3 users have similar problems with the AL code, try deleting the subs and the references to them as a workaround for now.

I am working on a brand new version of AL currently and don't want to make further changes to the existing AL. I am trying to focus all my efforts on this new version.
